I am excited!
I am getting ready to record a full band here soon for the first time in a while. The pandemic prevented getting together, especially in confined areas for prolonged amounts of time.
I am going through the checklist: how best to capture the vibe; making sure that the Toft ATB32 is working properly, which mics to use; vocal booth set up; which drums and cymbals will work best for the tracks; the assignment of tracks in ProTools; making sure that the Furman headphone remote mixers are ready; going over the patchbay; and on and on. I thought it would be tedious, but I was wrong!
