Hi everyone! During this 2012 holiday season, I have had the pleasure of playing White Christmas at The Buell Theater and will continue to do so through December 24. The Buell is part of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. I am grateful for this opportunity, but it will come to end soon. Please check my calendar to see my upcoming gigs. What’s Cookin’ (a 10-piece band) performs a monthly engagement at Jazz@Jack’s, typically on the last Sunday of every month. Our last gig this year will be on December 30, 2012, 5:00-7:30pm. There is no cover charge and it’s an all ages show. The band is a lot of fun and the club is located in the Denver Pavilions. Parking is free on Sundays in downtown Denver.
There are some great arrangements and wonderful players in the band. The charts are straight-ahead swing to blues to funk! I really have to stay on my toes to play this material. I always have a blast.
