Yamaha and Product Support

I just bought a used Yamaha Stage Custom Hip kit. (It’s so cool.) The previous owner packed it very well, and it arrived looking brand new. Unfortunately, the hybrid snare/floor tom’s strainer has a bit of a rattle when in the off position. Even though I am not an endorser, I took a chance and contacted Yamaha support about this. After looking at the video I uploaded, they concluded that the strainer was worn out and asked for my address in order to send me a replacement. It doesn’t get any better than that.
