Gregory Tech Drum Center will reopen on May 10, 2021 to in-person drum lessons, jazz workshops and recordings.
I am still giving drum lessons online via Zoom, as well as offering remote drum tracks online.
COVID-19 has changed everything for everyone. The good news is that there seems to be light at the end of the tunnel, and I am reopening my studio to jazz workshops, in-person recording sessions, and drum lessons. Just so you know, I am fully vaccinated.
Based on the info from the CDC, I believe that we can give this a go with unvaccinated people remaining masked, and have some fun. For the jazz workshops, I am requiring that horn players and vocalists also be fully vaccinated.
I am still offering online drum lessons via Zoom. If you are currently on Zoom with me, we can stay on that platform until you are ready.
IMPORTANT:
DO NOT show up if you or any member of your household is not feeling well — especially any respiratory illness accompanied by a fever.
I would request that you practice social distancing (including wearing a face mask) when not at my studio. I believe that it’s up to all of us to continue to protect each other. I am wearing my mask to protect others, and ask that you do the same when out and about as per the CDC guidelines.
I will be resuming gigs around this same time-frame, as well. I plan on wearing a mask when out and about.
