It’s been my experience that if I stay active, then I have a much healthier attitude and outlook. This can take on many different forms from being physically active (working out at a gym, getting out in nature, etc.), being socially active (going out and hearing music and meeting people), and also simply staying in touch with close friends. If I can stay engaged with people and have direct contact with the world, then I seem to be able to have a different perspective on my problems. I have no one to blame for the consequences of my actions or my inactions other than me. It has been said that you reap what you sow. Stay active and plant away.
