Learning to Let Go

There have been times when I have felt stuck — professionally and/or personally. I have found that, for me, it’s best to let go of whatever it is in my life that’s not working at that given moment. This may be a relationship or perhaps a band. It’s not easy either way. When I let go of a musical situation that is not fulfilling on some level, it’s been my experience that something else comes along. Many times, many other things come along that would not have presented themselves otherwise. I feel fortunate and confident enough to trust in my abilities as a drummer and as a person to make changes when it’s time.
