Cymbals

Recently, I was looking for some cymbals to take to jam sessions where I’m the host drummer. Some drummers hit much harder than I do, and I want to start leaving the K Zildjian cymbals at home. I wanted something a bit better than student cymbals and I found some decent used stuff and was considering this purchase.

The salesman pointed out that for only a bit more money, I could get some brand new A Zildjian cymbals. I have some A Customs and also some New Beat hi-hats from the 1970’s, but that’s about it. In general, my tastes seem to gravitate toward the slightly darker K Zildjian cymbals. I decided to go for it. The jammers will still have nice gear to play and I now have a more diverse palette when recording.
