Introductory Lesson — One complimentary introductory lesson is offered to all prospective students. At the end of the lesson, you will have a good idea of my approach to the instrument, and I should have a good idea of your abilities. We will discuss your interests, strengths and weaknesses and, together, we can set realistic goals. To schedule your first paid lesson, a one lesson deposit is required.

Scheduling — Lessons are taken once a week (unless otherwise arranged) and are scheduled according to availability.

Cancellations — I require at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to reschedule a lesson. If proper notice is not given, you will be charged for the missed lesson. Likewise, If I need to reschedule a lesson and do not give you at least 24 hours’ notice, your next lesson will be free of charge. Exceptions will be made for inclement weather, sudden illness, and family emergencies.

Payment — I accept credit and debit cards, checks or cash. I offer two payment options: (1) pay for four lessons and renew for the next set on the fourth paid lesson. When paying for four lessons at a time, I will remind you on your third lesson that payment will be due at your next lesson for the next set; or (2) pay week-to-week (a one lesson deposit will be required).

Pricing — As of January 6, 2017, my rate is $60 per hour lesson and $35 per half hour lesson. These rates may have changed, so please call or email for current rates.
