I saw Antonio Sanchez & Migration last weekend at Dazzle in Denver. Dazzle is a nice place and it was a fantastic setting in which to see this band. Daniel Feinberg of kuvo posted this on his Facebook page:

I saw two sets on Saturday and then two sets on Sunday. I was very inspired, to say the least. But here’s the best thing — the entire group hung out on Saturday evening and stayed to listen The Delta Sonics in the Dizzy Room at Dazzle. I was playing with the Delta Sonics that night, and initially was thinking that it would be intimidating to play some blues after hearing such accomplished musicians playing some extremely challenging music (The Meridian Suite). Antonio and his entire band could not have been more gracious, humble and just plain nice. Three of them sat in with the band, including Antonio. What an honor and amazing lesson!
